David R. Blouin, CPA

Blouin & Company, Inc.

David Blouin is a Certified Public Accountant and the President and Founder of  Blouin & Company, Inc. Mr. Blouin has over 20 years of experience as a CPA. He serves as the Co-V.P. and Treasurer for Youk's Kids, and is also the Treasurer and board member of the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, where he has served for over 10 years. Mr. Blouin also on the board of One Mission, Inc.  He graduated from Bentley College in 1984, and worked for the first 10 years of his career at KPMG Peat Marwick. 

Tina Cantu

Tina Cantu is a graduate of Lesley College’s Management program, Northeastern University’s MBA program, Jamestown Community College’s Nursing program, and Suffolk University Law School. She has served on numerous non-profit boards including Lovelane Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Inc. Sports Legacy Institute, Emerson Hospital, and currently, Youk's Kids. Tina currently works with her husband in his neurosurgery practice at Emerson Hospital as a nurse and legal consultant.

Nancy E. Dempze, JD

Nancy Dempze is a partner of Hemenway & Barnes LLP in Boston where her practice focuses on wealth transfer planning, charitable giving and trust and estate administration.  She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.  Nancy is an Overseer of the Museum of Science where she Chairs the Washburn Society for bequests and planned gifts and serves as Vice Chair of the Planned Giving Committee.  Nancy served as President of Westwood Land Trust for many years and is now the Vice President.  She is a trustee of Old Sturbridge Village, a living history museum in Sturbridge, Massachusetts and a trustee of the Don and Marilyn Rodman Foundation.  Nancy earned her JD from the Boston University School of Law and her BS from the University of Wisconsin.

Dave Hamilton

Mr. Hamilton, a board member since 2007, is Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Bain Capital, LLC.Since being on the board, Dave spearheaded an initiative to upgrade the computer lab at Nativity Preparatory School in Jamaica Plain.  Dave stays active in technology and takes part in a Private Equite CIO Group and is a Governing Body member of the Boston CIO Executive Summit. 

Jon Hanlon

Jonathan Hanlon joined the Youk's Kids Board in 2008. He is currently an executive for Duromar, Inc., a privately-owned manufacturing company based in Massachusetts. Jon grew up in Duxbury, MA, and is a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont. He is an officer on the Board of Directors for the Alpha Alumni Association and recently received the Ordo Honoris award for outstanding service.

Matt McKenzie

Matt is the President of Thomas Brady and Associates, an Independent Estate, Business and Insurance Planning Firm with expertise in Advanced Insurance Planning Concepts. He is responsible for the management and strategy of the firm, which has offices in San Francisco, Boston, Orange County and New York. Prior to joining Thomas Brady and Associates, Matt spent over 12 years with MetLife with various roles in product development, distribution, production and planning.   In addition to his role at Thomas Brady and Associates, Matt serves as a liaison or Board member for multiple companies and charities.

Michael Muldowney

Michael P. Muldowney is Interim Chief Executive Officer & Chief Financial Officer of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company. An active trustee in a number of non-profit organizations, including the Adopt-a-Student Foundation, Cathedral High School, and Hugs for Heroes, Michael is also a Board of Director of Youk's Kids.

Nat Saltonstall

Nat Saltonstall is the Director of Beaver Summer Programs in Chestnut Hill, MA and also the President of the American Camp Association of New England. In his work on behalf of children, he has served on numerous nonprofit boards including the Massachusetts Camping Association, Sibling Connections, and the Wildflower Camp Foundation. A graduate of Middlebury College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Nat currently lives in Dover with his wife and three children.

Michael Shaner

Mike has been an active member of the Board since the inception of the Charity.  An avid sports fan and involved member of his community, Mike has coached countless sports teams in town including two teams to Cooperstown.  He serves on the Troop Committee Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America in Dover and is an active member of his Parish.  Mike is a global account manager with over 25 years experience in the semi-conductor industry.  A graduate of University of Pittsburgh, Mike resides in Dover with his wife and two children.

Kathleen Volpe

Kathy Volpe is a Senior Vice President with Williams Lea. Kathy has worked in the outsourcing industry for over 30 years and has held executive positions in both Fortune 50 Companies as well as in start-up operations. Outside of work Kathy is an active volunteer in both local community as well as charitable organizations having held positions on several boards.

Adam Waitkevich

Adam Waitkevich is the President and Founder of Stone Harbor Trust, LLC, an independent and fee-only wealth advisory firm based in Shrewsbury, MA. An experienced CFP® professional, Adam leads a team of three advisors who serve the financial advisory needs of families, corporate retirement plans and non-profit foundations.  In addition to his work with Youk’s Kids, Adam is an active member of the Board of Overseers and the Finance and Accounting Advisory board of Lasell College.

Kevin Youkilis

Originally from Cincinnati, Kevin was selected by the Red Sox in the eighth round of the 2001 draft. He was chosen for the International League All Star team in 2003, and was a two-time All-American at the University of Cincinnati. Kevin is a two-time all-star, a two-time World Series winner, a 2007 Rawlings Gold Glove winner, and a member of Team USA at the World Baseball Classic.

Kevin is more than the Founder of  Youk's Kids – he is out in the community on a daily basis making a difference. He touches the hearts and minds of children and adults both on and off the field, made evident by the awards he has received in the community. 2008 Good Sports Award recipient, 2008 Christopher’s Haven Honoree, 2008 Hank Aaron Award, and 2007 Joslin Diabetes Center Honoree.

Robert Cantu

Dr. Robert Cantu is a Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at Boston University Medical Center, and Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy at Boston University. He is currently the Chief of Neurosurgery, Chairman Department of Surgery and Director of Sports Medicine at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA.

Dr. William Harmon

Dr. William Harmon is Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Director, Pediatric Nephrology at Childrens Hospital Boston. He serves as a Board of Director on the Advisory Board for Youk's Kids and also on the Awards and Allocations Committee.

Bud LaCava

Bud is the Regional Managing Partner for KPMG’s East region. Bud has 31 years of public accounting experience serving a wide range of consumer product, manufacturing, retail and distribution clients. He currently serves as Chairman, Business School Advisory Council – Bentley College, and on the board of Youk's Kids.
