BOSTON RED SOX FIRST BASEMAN KEVIN YOUKILIS TEAMS UP WITH STEPHEN AND RONNA MILLER AND THE YMCA TO SEND KIDS TO SUMMER CAMP

Boston—February 14, 2008—Kevin Youkilis, first baseman for the Boston Red Sox, today announced that his Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids charitable organization has teamed up with Stephen and Ronna Miller and the West Suburban YMCA in Newton, MA to send 20 deserving kids to overnight camp this summer.

"There are so many children that have never had the opportunity to experience 'The Great Outdoors,'" said Youkilis. "With the help of Stephen and Ronna Miller and West Suburban YMCA, we will give 20 of these kids the opportunity to spend two weeks at a the amazing Camp Frank A. Day in Central Massachusetts."

Camp Frank A. Day (www.campfrankaday.org) is the West Suburban YMCA's resident camp in East Brookfield, MA. Located on 52 acres on beautiful Lake Quacumquasit (near Old Sturbridge Village), Camp Frank A. Day has been serving boys and girls ages seven to 15 years old for more than 80 years. The camp boasts 1,000 feet of shoreline and features first rate facilities like an arts and crafts center, basketball and tennis courts, athletic fields, and much more.

There will be 20 two-week scholarships available to Camp Frank A. Day, offered to children in Greater Boston who have never had an overnight camp adventure and have an expressed financial need.
