Funds raised will benefit Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids

BOSTON—May 6, 2010— Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids announces its “Enjoy a night out with Youk” event at the Harpoon Brewery in Boston. The event will take place on Sunday, June 13th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and will help to raise money for community-based children’s charities and medical research organizations supported by Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids.

Only 80 tickets are being made available for this special event which gives Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids supporters and Red Sox fans the opportunity to enjoy a night out with Kevin Youkilis and some of his Red Sox teammates. The event will also feature both a live and silent auction for chances to bid on Kevin’s own personal seats behind home plate, autographed items, and much more.

“It is through events like these and the support of local business and our donors that enable us to raise funds that are so critical to the charities and organizations we support,” said Kevin Youkilis, Co-Founder of Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids. “We are excited for this event because it gives people a chance to not only help us raise money for these charities, but also to get out and have some fun while supporting one of our great local businesses. The Harpoon Brewery showcases some of the best locally brewed beer in Boston, and for people attending this event an opportunity to get an exclusive tasting of my own brew.”
